ASEAN NCAP to hold Vehicle Safety Course 2024/007 and Grand Prix Awards 2024 in
Bangkok

Kajang, Malaysia, 3 May 2024 – The New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian
Countries or ASEAN NCAP, a vehicle safety assessment program under MIROS, is pleased
to announce that we will be organizing our 7 th Vehicle Safety Course (VSC 2024/007) and its
fifth ASEAN NCAP Grand Prix Awards 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand at the following details.
Date: 28 May 2024 (Tuesday)
Time: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Venue: The Aachen Room, 3rd-floor TGGS building, King Mongkut’s University of
Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Thailand
The objective of the events are to promote and publicise vehicle safety information to the
public in Thailand, to launch the new ASEAN NCAP 2026-2030 Protocol and to
commemorate high achievers in the field of vehicle safety in the ASEAN region. Additionally,
the vehicle safety course will greatly help the public and the media in acquiring the
necessary information regarding vehicle safety and sharing the knowledge on the
importance of selecting vehicles with safety ratings.
